One More Time - Ediz Hook

I have to do this to you one more time - add another picture of new buttons. These just arrived from the Czech Republic and are hand painted glass. They would make an awesome focal on a bag or jacket lapel or a single button closure on a sweater. We also have the parts in the bead shop that convert them to brooches or necklace pendants. Wow - I really like these dragonflies! They are our state bug after all!

New Buttons

One fabulous closure for a shawl and....

many new buttons! We also have drawers filled with all kinds of buttons! Think outside the sweater, you can add a button anywhere on a garment! Just for fun sew a button on a jacket lapel. It is a true falsehood that a button has to button. Sometimes, it is just for embellishment! Show your flair!

More New Yarns & a Familiar Face

This is Cathy in the yarn shop. She is a terrific DIVA to have around and is beyond an excellent knitter! We are lucky to have her. Have a question? She can answer it! Have a problem - oops - knitting problem, she can handle it. She is in the shop on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. On Wednesdays, she has her bead hat on and is in the bead shop. YOu should come and say hello if you are in our area.

Fiesta yarns come in such a marvelous array of colors and softness. They make me want to lay my cheek against them and take a summer's afternoon nap!

My friend Gail, who used to live at Beckett Point here in Port Townsend is coming for a visit from her new home state of Kentucky. She is bringing buttons! Loads of buttons - all handmade in resin. She will be here May 10th and I hope to have the new buttons out in the store the very next day. I can hardly wait! I am dreaming of her buttons and using them on my latest creations!
